Hello, my name is Halona McKamey but you can call me Lona. I am from Pittsburgh, PA. I chose birth work because I am passionate and inspired by the need for doulas in our community and wanted to be part of change by promoting and advocating for all women. As a doula, I can promote and advocate for rights regardless of race, ethnicity, nationality, immigration, or financial status. Everyone has the right to be respected and quality maternal healthcare, free of discrimination and violence.
