I have always been passionate about making sure people feel supported and cared for in various capacities. My job as your doula is to provide holistic and comprehensive doula care that acknowledges the physical, mental, social, and spiritual factors that can impact birth and postpartum experiences. I practice from a person centered perspective where your needs, values, agency, and desires are at the forefront.

I'm Megan - I'm a bit of a hot mess. I’m awkward, but hilarious, and I swear too much. I love the outdoors, trying my hand at homesteading, devouring books, doing photography, crafting, and raising animals.
You can often find me with my nose buried in the ruff on one of my dogs, breathing in their dusty, sun drenched smell and trying to cement it in my memory. I maaaaay do that with my kiddo too, although he usually smells like outdoors, ketchup, and curiosity

I am a DONA-trained birth and postpartum doula. I am also a certified Hypno-Doula with Hypnobabies. I have a BA in Psychology, have worked in childcare and education, and have federal, state, and child abuse security clearances. I’m also a mother or 3, which were two c-sections and a homebirth. After experiencing some perinatal mood disorders after the birth of my first child, I knew I wanted to learn how to support others through this rite of passage.

I have spent the last 25 years doing birth-work as a labor & postpartum doula, Hypnobirthing instructor and currently as a bereavement doula and educator.
In 2018, I founded Pittsburgh Bereavement Doulas, a non-profit that provides free doula support to families experiencing stillbirth, miscarriage and pregnancies deemed non-viable. I also train others to become bereavement doulas through Baby Loss Family Advisors & Baby Loss Doulas.
(Note: DONA and Hypnobirthing now expired)

Hi, I'm Jasha The Saye Birth Doula. As an advocate, a friend, and your anchor in your birth experience I try to incorporate practices that helps you in your own healing and inner work.
