Edith Etuwewe Baker BSM, CPM
Bio
My journey to midwifery was inspired by my father's story of being born ”too soon and too small” in Nigeria and witnessing the many disparities Black birthing women faced in inner-city communities within the US. After studying abroad in India, and volunteering in Haiti, I was deeply moved by the challenges midwives faced in underresourced nations, which sparked my passion to become a midwife. Dedicated to making an impact and change, I feel greatly honored to serve my community as a midwife.
Mantra
Uplift and empower birthing families through compassionate care that honors our unique histories and fosters healing in the birth experience.
